Note: This rally is being held in conjunction with the Hitching Post Farm Schooling Horse Trial. We are grateful for the opportunity to use this venue and HPF resources for our rally, and as such, late entries and changes may not always be able to be accommodated.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: as listed in 2019 USPC Horse Management Handbook, for One-Day Rallies.
Consist of 3 or 4 riders and a Stable Manager, all members rated as of Closing Date of rally. A team must be comprised of either all Junior riders (17 and under) or all Senior riders (18 and over).
The club DC is responsible for approving the level of competition for all rider entries.
Sharing of mounts is not permitted.
Mixed ratings and levels may compete on the same team. There will be 2 divisions: Juniors (through age 17) and Seniors (>= 18). Each division will be scored and awarded ribbons based on Horse Management and riding scores, per the eventing rulebook.
If your club does not have a complete team, either call other clubs to make up a scrambled team, or send in such entries to be placed on scrambled teams by the Organizer.
Rally organizers will notify teams of any changes needed to create full teams or accommodate scrambles.
This rally will have a maximum of 10 teams, and is a non-qualifying rally.
COACHES: Coaching is allowed, but not required. Each coach must provide a signed coaching form, from the 2019 Eventing rule book, at the mandatory Coaches meeting (early Saturday morning) Coaches may NOT be chaperones. Link to 2019 Coaches Form
CHAPERONES: Each team must be accompanied by a Chaperone and a signed copy of the Chaperone Form must be submitted to the rally organizer upon arrival. Coaches may NOT be chaperones. All Chaperones must check in with the Rally Office upon arrival. Chaperones will follow the chaperone guidelines as outlined by USPC. A Chaperone must be 21 or older and is responsible for the conduct of those competitors in his/her charge. The Chaperone must stay on the Rally Grounds at all times during the rally competition, or must designate another adult to be responsible for the team if he/she must leave; the Rally Office must be notified of this change. VOLUNTEERS: Each team is required to furnish a minimum of two volunteers per day who will assist at the rally. Chaperones may also serve as volunteers. With more volunteers involved, volunteer shifts will be shorter. A volunteers meeting will be held after the briefing.
STABLING AND TACKROOMS: All teams will work out of trailers, using a standard two-horse trailer as a tackroom, with a limit of two two-horse trailers per team. Rally trailer parking is TBD, and will be communicated via email prior to the rally. Parking may be limited so PLEASE do not bring more trailers than necessary. Overnight stabling can be arranged through Hitching Post Farm.
FOOD: Lunches will be provided for all team competitors (riders and SM), and the team chaperone. Enter your lunch choice on the on-line Entry Form. Hitching Post Farm operates a food concession booth for all others who wish to purchase.
AWARDS: Team ribbons for each division. Horse Management team awards for each division (Junior <18, Senior 18 and over)
MISCELLANEOUS:
- We will use Pony Club rules for attire and armbands
- All manure, hay, and garbage must be picked up before leaving the rally.
- A neutral zone will be located near the rally office for parents and participants use.
- No smoking, no alcohol, no dogs.

All Online Forms will remain open for Editing until close date, at which all entries are Final. However, we will be peeking at your entries so that we can get estimates of numbers and where scrambles are needed :)

All entries must be complete and correctly done.
• $40 per rider for Pony Club Entry , $15 per Stable Manager (this includes lunch for riders, SM's and team chaperones). No fee for Junior SM's.

• IF a late entry can be accommodated, $50 late entry fee.
• IF a change entry can be accommodated, $20 change entry fee. Changes can be submitted by email only, to wnereventingrally@gmail.com on a unique, separate, typed email (no photos of handwritten changes will be accepted), with the subject line;CHANGE REQUEST (Team Name)
• Before closing date, full refunds will be given less a $15 charge.
• After closing date, refunds will be given (less $15) only upon receipt of vet or physician certificate.

- In addition to the Pony Club entry, all riding competitors MUST enter the July 20 Hitching Post Farm Schooling Horse Trial using bluehorseentries.com.
- All entries ONLINE only. If you have submitted an entry through Blue Horse Entries in the past, just update your information and you are ready to begin your entry. If you are new to Blue Horse Entries, you will first need to create a rider account. If you are a parent/guardian for a rider under 18, you will need to create an account for yourself, and add your rider to your account. It's fast and simple! - Open Date is 06/25 and close date is 07/09 (However, entries should be submitted before rally close date 07/06).
- Neg. Coggins required for all horses within 12 months; must accompany entry. If any questions on how to upload your Coggins with each horse to be included with your entry, please contact Blue Horse Entries, entries@bluehoreseentries.com.
- All riding competitors are encouraged to begin their Blue Horse Entry well in advance of the close date. (as well as Pony Club entry )

- Stabling, hay, grain, shavings : There is no onsite stabling available for this schooling trial. There is stabling one mile away. No shavings available for purchase on farm.

- Hitching Post Farm entry fee is $75 for Grasshopper, $100 for Elementary, BN, Novice, Training.These fees are paid directly to HPF via bluehorseentries.

CROSS-COUNTRY:
The Hitching Post Farm courses are all USEA standard set in an approachable way over some terrain. Jump courses are not timed.
Grasshopper: 18”, max 10 jumps, a course of 18" show jumps with 2 natural obstacles at 18" or less.
Elementary: up to 2’3”, max 10 jumps. Can include water, with option to go around the edge. 8-10 2’ to 2'3" SJ course including verticals and oxers.
Beginner Novice: up to 2’7”, max 15 jumps, Distance = 1400m. Can include ditch and water. 8-10 jump SJ course no higher than 2'7" can include 2 stride combination.
Novice: 2’11”, max 18 jumps, Distance = 1600 m, 8-10 jump SJ course no higher than 3'.
Training Level: 3’3”,max 20 jumps, Distance = 2000m, 10-12 jump SJ course, no higher than 3'3" and can include a triple.
STADIUM JUMPING:
The stadium phase will immediately follow cross-country.
DIRECTIONS:
From I-89: Exit 3. Left off ramp to Rt. 107 - 1/4 mile to Rt. 14. Turn right on Rt. 14 South. Turn right onto Royalton Hill Rd. Fox Stand, downhill, cross RR tracks & bridge & immediately turn left. Go 1 mile; becomes a dirt road. Turn left onto Back River Road. Go 1 mile; HPF on left.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE: Saturday, July 20, 2019
6:00 a.m. Arrival
7:00 a.m. Official Rally Opening (Briefing, teams may pick up packets and start setting up).
7:30 a.m. First Formal Inspection.
8:30 a.m. First Dressage Ride (tentatively scheduled)
NOTES: Schedule subject to change if ride times can start later than 8AM. We will be working with HPF on the scheduling, and will communicate any changes in upcoming weeks.
Please remember parents and non-competitors are only allowed to help unload- not set up. Once your horse is off the trailer or moved from stabling to the rally area, your Rally has begun!
